Terminals In Southampton: Choosing Where To Stay
Southampton is a lovely city full of life. There are plenty of things to do while you wait for your cruise to leave and many of these things are centred around the town centre which is not so far from the terminal either. When choosing where to stay in Southampton, especially if you are staying for at least a day or two is to stay need the centre of town where you have plenty of bars, restaurants, shopping mall and a few attractions.
Another consideration when choosing where to stay is considering which cruise terminal you are leaving from: Western Docks or Eastern Docks. This will depend on the cruise liner you are travelling with. Below is a map with the location of the Mayflower cruise terminal which is one of the popular terminals but Southampton is not huge anyway if you decide to stay further from the center of town, you are only a quick taxi from the terminal.
