  1. Such a cool list. I am a big fan of smaller hotels. I have been looking for London Soho boutique hotels and it looks like you have a couple that are just up my alley. Thank you for putting this together!

  2. These are all great hotels but I wonder how far in advance I would have to book to find cheap hotels in London Soho area.

    1. Well, London Westend is a busy and popular area in London and not really known for cheap hotels considering how expensive it normally is but if you book in the low seasons and well in advance you can find some good deals for London soho hotels cheaply so its possible.

  3. We have been looking for cheap hotels in soho London but having a hard time. Can you recommend any budget hotels around soho London. We would like to be as close as possible to Tottenham Court Road as one of the theatres we are seeing a show at is close to Tottenham Court Road.

    1. Hi Kayor, it is pretty tough finding cheap hotels in Soho London. The main options you would have are SoHostel which charges at £19 per night, Victoria Studio is about £100 a nigt or even Soho Bedroom at £120. You could branch out and look at hotels in Waterloo as there are plenty of even cheaper hotels there that are really nice. Check out my post on where to stay in London for more details. That is so close to London Soho. You only need a short bus ride or on a good day you could walk. Otherwise also look at hotels in Piccadilly circus too but again you are in the heart of the Westend so not a look of budget accommodation in Soho. For more also widen your search to Westend hotels in general.

  4. We have been looking at a couple of soho hotels. Can you tell me which you would choose between Mimis hotel Soho, The Nadler Soho and Z Hotel Soho? Also, do you know if we can walk to Oxford Street from any of the 3 hotels? Thanks

    1. Firstly in terms of prices Mimi’s Hotel Soho and The Z Hotel Piccadilly are around the same prices. They range from around £130+ per night while The Nadler Soho is around £215 per night. So if you are going solely on price it between the cheapest two hotels. In terms of distance to Oxford Street they are really about the same walking distance from Oxford Street. Also to note is that Nadler and Mimi’s Soho are only a street apart so it only leaves filtering based on budget and which one has rooms you like.

  5. Thank you for putting this together. We are flying into London for a short weekend visit to see a theatre show and were looking for London Soho accommodation when we stumbled on your blog post. Really appreciate your detailed recommendations.

  6. We have been trying to figure out the best hotels in Soho London for our anniversary weekend in London. We finally settled on the W Hotel in Leicester Square. Thanks to you!!!

  8. We have heard great things about Soho and are staying there as we have been looking for where to stay in London for nightlife. Would any of these hotels in Soho be a good base for nightlife in London?

    1. You are right in the middle of it! Soho and Westend is well known for London nightlife, you have nightclubs, theatres, bars, restaurants, casinos…This really easy one of the best places in London to stay for nightlife. You will have ball!

  9. Hi Bee, love the hotel list but wanted to ask about parking in Soho London. Do any of the hotels offer free parking?

    1. You will struggle to find hotels in Soho London that offer parking. However there is some parking in some single yellow line streets in Soho and the westend in general but they are fewer and fewer by the year. Weekend’s arent too bad but you have to arrive early. If at all possible I would strongly advise you not to bring your car. Use the underground or Uber and you will be just fine, please you can avoid not only searching for parking but also the possibility of getting a parking ticket in Soho and they are not cheap!

  10. Hey Bee, do you know if any hotels near the palace theatre in London we are due to watch Harry Porter late December.

  11. Such a cool list of hotels in theatreland. We are going to watch the Lion King in December and are super excited to be staying at the Mimis’s hotel as its close by to the Theatre too. Great post by the way!

    1. That’s awesome. I have seen the Lion King twice now and each time was like the first time. Have a great time and yes Mimi’s hotel is in a great location!

  12. Hey Bee, we are thinking of places to go in Soho London as we are staying there. Do you know how to get to Soho by Tube?

    1. Hi Agnes, there are several tubes in Soho, Leicester Square, Piccardilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road, Charing Cross and Covent Garden are all within walking distance so getting around Soho is fairly easy. Most of the tubes are also close together that going one or two stops by tube is pointless you are better off walking. Just download a PDF of the Tube Map in London from Transport for London and you will see just how easy getting around London is. Hope that helps

  13. Certainly glad I came across your blog as we are looking for Soho London hotels cheapish that dont break the bank. Going to check these places out.
