Singapore is blessed with vast beautiful waterways where couples can thrill themselves with a boat cruise on the clear blue rivers in Singapore. Enjoy the cool breeze and the water splashes on the boat tour round the major waterways in Singapore with you spouse. Admire the beautiful buildings, malls and markets that beautify the banks of the rivers.
No Singapore itinerary is complete without a cruise. To make the cruise more romantic and memorable, go on the boat tour at night where you can see the beautiful laser light show by the bay and spend some quality night time together on the sparkling water of Singapore. According to me, it’s one of the most romantic things to do in Singapore for couples at night and you can’t miss this.
VISIT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS’ SENTOSA ISLAND PARK
Your visit to Singapore will not be near complete if you fail to visit the magnificent complex of Sentosa owned by universal studios. ICE-SKATE @ THE RINK
For unusually romantic things couples can do in Singapore, head to the skating rink. Hold your spouse close and tight as you both skate through the amazing rinks in Singapore. This is among the coolest fun couples activities to do in Singapore, in my opinion.
Enjoy the laughter, giggles and undiluted fun skating brings as you watch each other skate through the busy Singaporean rinks. At J-Cube’s rink, romantic songs and blues are played while fun seekers skate away into the icy bed. The song is bond to send couples into a romantic frenzy while they skate.
TOUR THE NATIONAL GALLERY
If you want to escape the heat or rain and looking for indoor activities for couples, check out the national gallery. The national art gallery of Singapore is a mixture of adorable creative art and magnificent architectural work. If any of the couples visiting this gallery have a passion for art, I can say bold that such a person would be reluctant to leave the gallery. There are various spaces in the gallery for couples to have a little chat and sweet talk each other. There is no way this gallery will not infuse some form of creativity into any lover or good artwork who visit the gallery.
Aside from the fine arts, the gallery also has a profound landscape and scenery, perfect for taking some romantic pictures. The gallery is open from 10am to 8pm.

WATCH A MOVIE AT CINEMA
I love the movies and sometimes if you are travelling around there is nothing cooler than experience movie nights abroad. You will be surprised the various ways movies are experienced around the world. For example, we were actually surprised we had to hear the anthem or pledge of allegiance to the monarchy in Thailand before the start of any movie.
For other fun things to do in Singapore for couples why not go on a movie date with your sweetheart and enjoy some non-conventional movie showing on the projector at the Golden Mile Tower Cinema. The cinema has an inspiring interior and lots of popcorn to go around. The cinema experience here is like no other, you might get to watch some romantic Indian movie if you are lucky. Cinema time here for Box office is 5pm-11pm weekdays.
Where To Stay In Singapore For Couples
There are plenty of places to stay in Singapore but for someplace I highly recommend booking well in advance. Particularly during holiday periods like new years, Christmas, summer and when there are particular events in the city. Below are some recommendations for places to stay for couples in Singapore:
Budget with a slice of cool:
If you are doing romance on a budget but want something impressive then I highly recommend the MET A Space Pod @ Boat Quay. This little gem offers space-themed accommodation conveniently located in the heart of Singapore about 650 yards from Raffles Place Station. You sleep in fully-equipped space pods, all fitted with power sockets, mirrors and USB charging stations. If this branch is already booked check the Galaxy Pods in Chinatown.
Mid-range Hotels In Singapore:
You can find many hotels offering decent prices for say 3 nights in Singapore at around £215 and upwards. Check out Ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay, Hotel Chancellor@Orchard, The Quay Hotel, and the very super cool YOTEL Singapore on Orchard Road all over amazing chic accommodation perfect for a couples’s city getaway.
Luxury Hotel In Singapore for Couples:
If you have your eyes firmly set on the infinity pool with views across Singapore then a stay are Marina Bay Sands is a must for any couple visiting Singapore! The earlier you book the better the prices. The cheapest we have ever seen was around £300 per night. Failing that, I suggest a stay at InterContinental Hotel, Shangri La Restore and Spa on Sentosa Island, Swissotel on Stamford or Marina Mandarin . Mandarin is one of my favourite hotels. We had an amazing time at the Mandarin in Kula Lumpur before we made it to Singapore.
